-The follow is a list of frequently asked questions about our newest camp offering, 1/2 Day afternoon wakeboarding camp. If you cannot find the answer to your question here, please call us at (858) 539-2003 or , and we will be happy to help you.

Q.
How is the afternoon camp different from the morning camp?
A.
The 1/2 day afternoon only camp is modeled after afternoon wakeboarding activity and will include tubing, jetski rides, kneeboarding, and is more recreational in nature than the instructional morning session.  The campers will ride at East Vacation Island but will still be dropped off and picked up at the MBAC.  They will ride the bus to E. Vacation Island so being on time is essential.

Q.
Does this mean I can sign up for 1/2 morning wakeboarding and waterskiing camp?
A.
Each week we allow a certain amount of 1/2 day morning spot on a first come, first served basis, but priority in the morning camp is still given to full day campers.

Q.
My camper doesn't know how to wakeboard yet.  Is it ok for them to take this activity?
A.
Yes.  While the afternoons are more recreational than the morning camp, we will still teach your camper how to ride or waterski.  There will be less pressure to do wakeboarding before kneeboarding, or tubing like in the morning camp where it is required.

Q.
Can I do the morning wakeboarding and waterskiing camp, and then the afternoon 1/2 day wakeboarding camp?
A.
Yes.  The cost is $500 for wakeboarding and waterskiing full days.

Q.
What is the difference between combining the morning and afternoon wakeboarding sessions, and the Advanced Wakeboarding Development Camp?
A.
Both camps will have the opportunity to wakeboard all day, however, the students in the WDC will have their own boat which they will stay on for the whole session, rather than working from the beach like the 1/2 day afternoon camp.  The WDC also is a longer day starting at 7:30 and ending at 3:45.  The WDC  emphasizes skills development and has a prerequisite that a rider be able to get up and cross the wakes consistently.  The 1/2 day afternoon camp has tubing, jetski rides, and kneeboarding.  The WDC does that very little.  In general, the WDC is more for students who want to work on skills development and the 1/2 afternoon camp is more for kids looking to play on the water.

Q.
Do I still get a discount for signing up multiple campers or for multiple weeks ?
A.
Yes.  You still get our standard discount for $10 per week for multiple campers or signing up for multiple weeks.
